WHAT TO EXPECT
Worship involves all that we do together as the body of believers. At Bluebank Church of God, we worship God through reading the Bible, listening to the preaching of God’s Word, sharing in an offering of our gifts and tithes, and spending time in fellowship between services.
23. He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.
24. And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.
– John 4:23-24 (KJV)
Worship Service
Bluebank Church of God is blessed with a great Praise and Worship Ministry. The mission of this ministry is to prepare the hearts of those attending for worship and accepting the Word.
The style of music is diverse in our services. You will participate in services that include Contemporary, Southern Gospel, and Traditional Hymns. Each Sunday is different and offers an opportunity for each individual to share in their desired worship style.
As a guest, you are not expected to make an offering, but certainly may if you are so led. Offerings are made by our members as part of their commitment to God and the church. As Christians, we give as we have been blessed out of our love for our Lord and Savior.
Where Will My Children Go?
We have many young children at Bluebank Church, and so we understand that young children are not adults! To help you with babies and toddlers we have an attended nursery on Sunday mornings during worship services, as well as Youth Church for children K-5th grades. We have Sunday School class offerings for all age groups. The greeters will be glad to point you in the right direction.
Need More Information?
On Sunday mornings, we encourage you to talk with any of our congregation, they will be glad to answer any questions you may have or put you in contact with someone that can assist. If you prefer a more confidential way of asking, you can talk to the pastor after the service and ask him to call you. We look forward to getting to know you!
